Making Moral Sense of MAID
CHOOSING TO PARTICIPATE IN A MAID DEATH, OR NOT, IS A DECISION THAT SHOULD NOT BE TAKEN LIGHTLY.
Nurses in our studies have described how important it is to take a thoughtful approach to your involvement in MAID. In this section we will describe some of the factors we have identified that contribute to how nurses feel about becoming involved in MAID and the principles that they use to make sense of that decision.
